This is our Facility
Founded in 1995, Horizon Planetary Observatory is equipped with Our NEW 14" Meade RCX400 telescope, which is housed in a 10' Technical Innovations dome. Our new scope is permanently mounted on a 22' x 16" Steel Mounting Pole. Fully remote robotic operation is now possible. We started out only doing amateur observations, but currently I am involved in Minor Planet Detection, and finishing a Master Degree program at Swinburne University in Australia.
In the near future I will be involved in Project Argus. and Independent Solar research.
Our observatory is located on the outskirts of Glenville, WV, and is operated by Robert R. Jones II.
